    Tell us what the variables stand for, just so we know for sure.

    H must be the height of the players, t is for time since -16t^2 is gravity, v is velocity, s is .. ?

    What does the formula equal? lmao.

    First; This is not Algebra. At least no form of Algebra I have ever taken.
    Two; Are either of the two guys black? Chun is probably Asian, so no. RJ is probably black, so yes.

    [Passage] Chun and RJ are playing basketball. Chun can jump with an initial velocity of 13 feet per second and needs to jump 2.6 feet to dunk the basketball. RJ can jump with an initial velocity of 15.5 feet per second and needs to jump 3.6 feet to dunk the ball.

    [Question] Can chun dunk the ball? can RJ?

    the formula is h-16t^2+vt+s

    Help plz this question is pissing me off

    I just finished doing this!
    ok ok
    I'm going to reword this formula.

    D = -16T^2 + VT + H

    D = Distance jumped
    -16T^2 = Gravity (considering he has no fly hacks)
    V= Velocity
    T= time
    H= Height at initial jump

    Since he starts at the ground, H = 0

    So plug it in,
    D= Distance needed to jump
    V= How high they can jump per second

    and then move some shit around and use the Quadric formula

    PS.

    D = VT - 16T^2
