As I follow the analysis

I really like how it went from a cutscene and straight into the action, thats the kind of shit I like to see.They are really stepping away from GoW's grittyness. I like how they moved it away from...where ever GoW originally took place (I've never played it all the way through)..the city/town or w/e levels..and put in a place where you usually don't see shooting games take place. The lighting is amazing. The framerate looks amazing, very smooth. MEAT SHIELDS. Chainsaw battle looks fun. The comments the guys from Game Video were making about it were hilarious. "You have the new Carmine (SP?) in the background, and their just standing there, watching it going on. They're not helping at all! They don't mind watching a little chainsaw battle, and you know what? I don't either!" Hahaha.

LOL. "Ah mah eyes, I'm blind!".

GoW2 looks truly amazing. it has this..real..cinematic feel. No complaints whatsoever. This would be my 2nd reason to push me to buy a 360, other than Fable 2.

Never said that. I just said it was a contender. In my review topic, some other guy mentioned SSBB being GOTY. Thats something I doubt more than GTA.

Something a bit off topic...I've never seen an exclusive title for any console or PC that was GOTY. Was there ever one?

Hmm.. from Wiki, it says it happened 3 times out of 10 years. In 1998, Golden Eye, 1999, Legend of Zelda: OoT, and 2006, God of War.

Maybe an extra act, but no more than that.

Of course they could chance it up a bit. F.E.A.R. had the worst repetition I've ever seen, but I played Doom 3 without it being repetitive at all. They need to mix it up a bit rather than be completely linear.

The graphics didn't improve too much, the colors are prettier though (there's a comparison somewhere on gametrailers), but the new features are sick! I loved chainsawing people, and the chainsaw battles look sick.

Far more on-screen units, better shaders, ect.

The gameplay footage blew me away, now I'm just hoping Cole and Baird wil have some have some screen time as well.
