    Default Thoughts on Fury?

I downloaded Fury again last night. I was intrigued by the new league they have going for it. What is everyone's thoughts on this game? Anyone want to play with me?

I want to qualify for the tourney coming up, so if anyone is interested, let me know.

I played Fury on both Hero and Chosed, and they're exactly the same fun. As Chosen you only get less essence for skills, that's all... Sadly there's almost no one playing it now.

It gave me and my friend a blue screen, had to completely wipe my harddrive and reinstall windows (both of us) so be careful with that game but the game itself when I played was pretty fun it just seemed too repetitive and definitely not worth a p2p but still a nice game.

Lately they added a bunch of updates and I tried it out again (not for too long of fear of getting a BSOD...) but from what I played it seemed they had updated it quite a bit.

i thought games could only do that if you didnt meet minimum requirements cause im sure the game isnt risky...

Me and my friend met way past the minimum...in fact I played it on highest with no lag...

To give me a bsod it would have had to mess with certain files on the harddrive or physically mess with the harddrive itself and considering it happened to both of us I'm thinking it messed with certain files and they just happened to corrupt...

They said something about fixing certain memory leak problems so they probably fixed it by now, personally I'm still not touching the game though.

I saw the boxed version of Fury for $9.99 at Gamestop. If you buy that, I think you get Hero status for life or something. I'd just grab that.

From what I've seen, Fury is like Quake or UT, but using skills and a keyboard instead of guns and a mouse. It DOES take up 10GB though, which is a pain in the ass...

I never got this game to work, so I can't really make an opinion, though I think that the concept is pretty good, the execution so far has been so-so. Yeah, I've seen the box for pretty cheap at a few game stores, so if you want a hard copy, that would also give you some better access as opposed to F2P all the way.
Thinking of something to put here.

i'll admit that when i played it, it was hella fun at first,
however it go so darn repetitive that i just had to leave it on the ground and never touch it again

Like most games out there right now?

Anyways, I never played it, though I hear it sucks, and I've read reviews on it from gamespot.com, and they say that it sucks.

It's a great concept by all means, coming from someone who loves PvP, and laying the beat down on random people over the internet at times, but sadly the game wasn't what everybody thought it would be.
