Pho only knows about some sex sims, thus thinks the huge world is all about sex. Note there is even a teen secondlife that has no sex in anyway.

Think about why they do not come with genitals, because its not all about sex. In fact the ones you buy *or make* are mde by users. Besides the templates to create on, the world is made by its users. Meaning sl did not even have sex at the start it had nothing, its like an open source playground thats easy to create. Someone decided to make sex in sl, big deal. Someone also made guns, cars, giant robots, and evil rampaging monkeys... the list goes on... But it was all user created. For example. You want a m16 assualt rifle. You can buy it or... You can build it with an in game builder thats so simple I made the number one hit armor in sl my first time building something big. Then you make the textures for it, or find some like on google, upload them, and you can place them on your objects you build and form into your weapon. you then can make animations from them *there is a free animator that works with sl as well, not included* so you can hold it and aim and all that. You then script it *which is the only thing someone normal may not be able to do* so you can fire it, maybe even change fire modes, maybe even make it so you can hit someone with the butt of the gun by pressing a key you set... Maybe set it so it can reload, or add on parts like a bigger clip or silencer, maybe a color changer or texture changer so you can make it a green camo when you go into the forest areas. Maybe even make it so you can break the gun in half with your super strength because you had too many booze that night and felt bored, I dunno, but you can do anything, and make anything.

EDIT: Forgot to say, you can also upload sounds you find or record for anything, for example for your weapon, a sound to fire, reload, a crack when you hit someone with the butt, and more.

Many firms use second life to hold oversea meetings or to make commercial for their new products, like selling a virtual BMW, etc etc, there are those that make good money from second life, anyone can make money there, if you are smart about it, hence why the age group is big.

Nothing, because most of the time I give all my money away. I don't need it, I may the most rich free account in sl in fact. Most people in sl give away money just like myself anyway. With that money, do something big. Then get more.

I made one armor, I'm more rich then a lot of people who pay monthly *they get an allowance of lindens each week, too much but meh, also can own land.* Think is, I'm more rich then them, and I own land as well. The screenshots I took, at my house. I have a 3 story oriental home that is raised with an underbath water fall, on a mountain that has a walkway down to a large river/pool with an under secret cave, an outpost and stuff for the pool like diving boards and more. Above that, my own personal sandbox that includes everything I need to build, posing stand and a studio with all white walls. All because I took a week to build something. Also because I was a volenteer instructor and got 600 per class, and more.

Yup, CNN even has an official news report on SL weekly(?) in game, it has a news station set up, and users can send in stories and more.

Big companys use SL for meetings as well, international and all that. SL has voice, even a built in web-browser, and you can even give a presentation or watch streaming movies, because it has build in quick time. The webbrowser is modzilla, it does not have things for like youtube or flash and all that, but funny enough its faster than FF or IE for me, so I log into sl sometimes just to check mail or browse google faster in the game.

EDIT: About selling products, that too, some people build or commision someone to build things like cars and more, accurate ones at that, and products can be sold via sl from the company thanks to the virtual demo. A lot of companys also make things in sl to see if they like it. Maybe a new watch company has a new idea for a watch, instead of using a expensive program to make it, they can in sl, and see what they make, if they like it, it can become a real product. The list goes on and on. Some bands have even proformed *officially* in sl singing in their mic while the music plays with their virtual avs. *I cant think of any major label artists but I know of some I liked who have done a sl gig.* Hell, SL was even on CSI. Seriously, SL was on CSI, and CSI was in sl. xD

Just note the SL it shows in that is using all the default stuff, meaning all the default skins and all that crap, and it does not have all the advanced things on like glow, anistrophic filters and stuff like that. I'll try to find a vid of what sl can look like, good wise.

Dang it my net is acting up, I pay $40/month for high speed internet for the day... but then at night for some reason I get crap. You see my host is public, the only provider you can get in this small hell hole, thus they milk us for money, for unreliable service for about twice the price people just 30 mins away...

EDIT: Welp nothing is loading lol... anyways just remember most of the stuff made in sl is by normal people, who have not made things before or even know how. I've never made anything for like a game, or anything in 3d before my armor, and its a hit... Some people out there are pro tho, most just make stuff for a company for money but meh.
