Two Canoeists Disappear

Was it for recreation or some kind of race? Is the water they travel in rough or were they amatuers who really didnt know what they were doing. Maybe right now they are trapped on some coast pulling off stunts they have seen on survivorman?

It's not really that dangerous, but you can easily roll over, if you lean to either side, especially when you lie deep in the water with 3 guys in one canoe.
They might have had somewhat a calm and it was on a sea, but what still matters is, the shock of falling in and the range to the shore (plus the direction at night, when you are drunk). Turn it back and climb in, is not a thing that works too well in normal conditions.

Sad thing, pretty shocking; We take so much for granted...

Nah, I was just saying that like, he went to the same school and I'm not sure if I ever saw him around or came into contact with him. But he was a buddy of my guitarist, and I wish I had gotten to know him.

I never saw him I'm saying. He used to go to my school but I never saw him or ran into him (at least as far as I know). He was apparently a really good guy. That's all I'm saying. Wish I could have had the chance to meet him.

His body was just recovered at 4:30pm.
