Name of an OLD 2d MMO

It's a game I used to play maybe 7 years ago. It was a 2d MMO (Not like Maplestory, it was point and click just 2d). The graphics looked like they were maybe hand drawn and just kinda poor. it was P2P and it was called "Rune" something. Not Runescape.

No. This was older then that I think. Sure looked like it anyway. You could wear a lime green suit of mithril armor, when you got into a fight against monsters people on the field only saw a cartoonish dusty brawl with arms and feet flailing.

I don't think rune stones is an MMO, and it wasn't Dragon Raja. These were some ugly lookin graphics.

I just meant the movement was point and click as opposed to maplestory where you use the wasd keys. Yeah, the combat was turn based.

Nah, not Tibia. Much older, the characters were way bigger

i played it back in the day when WoW didnt exist or Eq2 or any other p2p game like Lineage 1 or 2

no Flyff no Maplestory no lunia or hellgate london and so on

I was playing chrome games before MMORPGs , hell I just bought Dosbox and Gold box (Dungeon and Dragons from the 90s) , but I do have standards lol.

I m done trying new things , I m just gonna go stick with Neosteam , and cash shop myself to importance!

Reading your thread from the top I had The Realm as the answer as soon as you said what the battle clouds looked like. The game is old but it still has a great group of longtime fans playing it. BTW it is only $6.95 a month.

Where did you get that screenshot? I recognize a couple of the people in it!

I wouldn't mind playing again if it was free. Haven't played in like 10 years but I'm pretty sure I remember it being fun. I just can't see paying for it when for the same price I can get another month of xbox live.
