MSN sharing shares your computer to your friends.. you can take back control at any time, but they can see what you're doing and all.

This has been out for ages. It also sounds extremely dangerous. I wouldn't trust anyone using msn live messenger to know what they are doing.

Reputation: 424They are using Remote Assistance, it was bundled with the first release of XP back in 2001. It's not new software, and is rarely updated.
It was originally available through Windows Messenger, I doubt Windows Live Messenger's version is any different, but I haven't used it in years. It's relatively safe if you know the person. You can stop whatever they are doing immediately by just pressing the Escape key.
