I give it a 8 cuz its a good game jus some quests are too long and require so much walking and its kinda boring. The grind gets to u even tho its not much of a grind. Maby cuz its a slow paced fight.
I think thisg ame got potential but rohan will win. Fast paced fun PVE wins all the time.
This game was pretty gay except for the part when I first got in it and I was all like "LOL THAT DEERS HEAD WENT FLYING LOLOLOLOL" it was pure bullshit till lvl 10 and after lvl 10 It was cool during the first kill when I got my 2h axe and ripped the body pieces out of more monsters until I came to the 2nd kill where I noticed I got shit experience from a monster 4 lvls ahead of me.
i give it a 8/10 i love the game so far im 26 grind aint bad make a lvl a hour now so its not too bad like other games but why i rated it only a 8 is cause most of the quest is broken atm.the sad part of it all is i was able to do these quest during CB and they worked fine.
lag is due outdated netwerk adapter driver. The fault is not the server.
Also, i'm generally not found of korean grinders, but Requiem seems to hold a grip.
The grind is not bad, not bad at all. Some classes have it more difficult in the beginning then others (Soul Hunters, Rouges), but become worth it at later levels. The quests also gives more then enough experience to get you going.
The beast possesion is brilliant imo. It can level, you can equip, it has its own skillset and soforth and they can be mighty strong.
graphicwise, Requiem honours it's concept by creating a gloomy, yet ungeneric surrounding. Regions like Parness are pretty varied going from the Cyclone Heights with ruined temple (Ruins of Lament, which also have a completely diffirent architecture inside). Graphics are not optimal by far, yet the game looks great as it is. Crescent however, is graphically really subordinate to the rest, but i don't care, since i never went to Crescent between Turba & Parness.
The models for the weapons are brilliant (especially claws and dual swords), artistically spoken, the weapons have a high quality. Armor however is a bit less spectacular especially on the Kruxena since all armor are, in the end, the same tanktop and skirt in a diffirent colour. Which is regrettable. But coming from the promise made by Gravity, there will more variaty in appaerances when it goes live or near the end of OBT.
Soundwise it lacks a bit, true. The weapon and impact sounds are clear and strong and feel right. But there is hardly any music available. So most of the time you'll be running around without a single sound on the background. Also the sound/music and impact effects of the beast Giont are somewhat silenced and should be reworked too.
the main issue with Requiem in it's current state is the amount of bugs which tend to work hand in hand with frustration. Things like monsters running away from you while hitting you from a mile away so you have to run after them, just to see them teleport back to where you started running from. Next to the there are more frustrating issues like not being able to attack certain monsters while in possesion mode while visa versa it doesn't count.
This is a beta stage and i can perfectly understand the issues. But somewhere i expected that, when OBT when live, a few more bugs from CBT that are still present in OBT, would have been resolved by now.
But all in all, Requiem has pretty everything that makes it stand "above" the regular kr f2p mmorpg. It has a fully equipped possesion system, an auction hall, questtrackers, moveable UI, solid animations, good graphics, relatively good sound and it doesn't quite bore so fast thanks a relatively good feeling of progression (what you wouldn't do just to get a Supernus Dual Sword ...)
i rate it 7.5/10 due to the issue that are still available
