If it makes you feel any better my friends didn't tell me happy birthday until a couple days afterwards. Of course they couldn't really because we were out of school for Christmas break and I was grounded from the phone, but even so, those ungrateful bastards didn't get me anything.
Your relatives are dicks though. My sisters all came by to wish me happy birthday and I got a cake and a ton of money even though they had already given me Christmas gifts just a few days before
