Rohan now 5 servers!

And this is only on the 1st day of OB. Probably a few more servers in the next weeks? What is happening here is that a large community gets split. This is in my opinion not a good thing. Because its new and hyped, many will leave after after the first month or so. This will make atleast a few servers pretty empty. Also I got the feeling Rohan servers cant hold that many players at all! Remember Shaiya, it had ALOT of people also online at the first day of OB. Still 1 server could handle it.


What happend to the channel system? Where you have 1 server but many channels to support. Give me youre ideas on this.

I made a lv10 Fighter in like 45 min, but after than everywhere i went was way to crowded to train any, i couldnt even get quests done. Just decided to wait awhile, few more hours.

Ill probably end up making a new character on one of the new servers. Ill log in later and see how it is.

Hi all -

Wow, what an incredible evening it’s been. We began the Open Beta at 8pm PST to a huge crowd, much larger than we expected. Due to the incredible demand by players to play the game, both of the game servers (Torian and Silva) reached maximum capacity within minutes! Such an overwhelming response was truly amazing. Consequently, however, because of the large mass of players, we experienced intermittent lag and even temporary shutdown of the servers. We scrambled quickly and we were able to get a third server up right away, named Syrephis. But before long that one was maxed out as well. Rohan: Blood Feud fans are truly awesome!

We are currently working hard to add more game servers to the mix, to best serve you, the community. With more game servers means more stability and more room for the players. Two more servers are currently being added – Marea and Ahkma. This will bring the server total to 5. And if that's not enough, we’ll continue adding more until we can comfortably fit the entire community. We won't stop until everything is running optimally.

We appreciate your continued patience, and thank you for bearing with us as we work through this expansion. We look forward to seeing you in-game!
