    Default Ouch..

So I went to the dentist yesterday to get some work done on my teeth.

The dentist injected my mouth with some numbing shit and told me that I couldn't feel anything for 24 hours. Sounds harmless right? Wrong!

When I went to bed (mouth still numb) I woke up the next morning to find my pillow covered with blood. Turned out I chewed a massive hole in my cheek.

The numbness should ware off in about 3 hours. I just thought I'd share that with you guys.

Whoa, that sucks. Call up the dentist again before it gets filled up with bacteria, that happened to my little brother.

    Damn!

I've had some bad experience at the dentist before, but that's just with baby teeth pulling! all he did was eject that stuff into your mouth (tastes horrible, by-the-by. i remember that medicine's taste), and then the next morning, you got a big hole in your mouth?

    sorry........but happy it wasn't me.

is it possible to sue the dentist?

when my brother had a similar procedure he just came back and kept drooling for about an hour. you should get that checked out though dude. a friend of mine years ago got an infection in a mouth wound and it filled up with pus. when it burst he swallowed some and it gave him the shits for about three days. he was really ill.

i dont like my dentist, he does NHS patients but also does private stuff too. it still costs me £30 every time i go for a checkup but i get the distinct feeling that he looks down on me because im a 'freeloading NHS patient'.

also hes gay and extremely effeminate, which only adds fuel to the fires of rage. but mostly i dont like him because of the NHS thing i just said. yeah. what a douche, healthcare should be free dickwad.

Thats well known and your dentist should have made you aware that when on novicane(thats the pain-killer given to you), you have no feeling in the injected area so you don't realize when you are chewing on it, and you just got to keep that in mind.

You'll be fine. Sucks that it happened, you you're not the first, and not the last, and it won't kill you.
