    Default Losing my otaku-ness...?

I haven't watched a new episode of anime in over a few months. A couple of years ago everyday I would be looking online for a new show to start watching. I had a 200 gig HD full of anime I didn't even know much about; I would just download the first few episodes then watch them later. (All of the shows were unlicensed, of course. I'll buy a series I love if it ever comes to DVD.) Now, for almost the last half year I've felt so unmotivated to watch anime. Honestly I have no idea why.

What I'd give to have the feeling of wanting to watch at least 10+ episodes of anime per day again, and do it. I have almost a 100 stack dvd spindle full of animes that I watched maybe a third of it all.

Any useful tips that I can try to get my love for anime back? The days keep going by, and it's been months since I've looked at my favorite sites to look up new shows and try them out.

Switching to other genre's just doesn't seem much for me. It's not even the "watch something fresh and different to rekindle your old flame for anime."

I want to watch all these comedies and fighting, etc shows I have...just don't feel motivated.
I love those types of animes.. like if I watched a full comedy show its just to boring. I thought I lost the "it" the excitement I used to get from the shows.

But it just took hard searching to find a good one.

name all the actio=comedies you've seen, I'll try to list you some animes that will tie you back into them like it did for me.

All I've seen? Phew that's going to take some diggin into my memory. Let's see...
It'll be a pain to list off all the shows I have in categories, so just listing all of the shows I've watched and liked is better.

Hellsing, GTO, Gintama, Cowboy Bebop, Outlaw Star, FMA, Berserk, Elfen Lied, Basilisk, Gungrave, Hajime no Ippo, X, Witch Hunter Robin, Genshiken, Wolf's Rain, Elemtnal Gelade, Tokyo Underground, The Guyver (Both old and new), GunXSword, Seto no Hanayome, Umisho, Black Lagoon, Bleach, Naruto, Darker than Black, D.Gray Man, Gantz (minus the graphics, show sucked since manga is going on wayyyyyyyyyyy longer and I love it :s), Koutetsu Sangokushi, Yamato Nadeshiko Shichi Henge (Wallfower or w/e it's called.), Kaze no Stigma, Ergo Proxy, Kaze no Stigma, Claymore, History's Strongest Disciple Kenichi, One Piece, Texhnolyze, Gurren Lagaan, Trinity Blood, Trigun, Devil May Cry, and a few more I can't remember after thinking.

Maybe your just going through a phase of 'growing-up'. Some people don't keep the same hobbies forever.

I have been out of Anime since around.. the day Vampire Knight starts airing..
I still look around and update myself, though.

It will be up again when Slayer/Zero no Tsukaima/Maria-sama ga Miteru comes back
