Yeah youre going to have to grind if you have no quests to do for the day time. What lvl are you? Also the game gets 20x better after the single player. Getting a party for an instance is quite fun.
I'm just about lvl 17 now (as I didn't have much time to play since I got it).
One thing I can say though, is that in the noob village there are a ton of quests. It's almost like every quest I finish, I get 5 more to replace it.
There are almost too many quests when starting AOC.
I try and run around and get all the quests from NPCs so I only have to hit an area once. You know, stack up 10 quests for the underhalls and do em all at the same time. Saves running back and forth.
Just an off chance that you didn't know...
The minimap or regular map shows ! wherever there is a quest you can get. Make sure to get them all if you didn't want to grind.
