Neosteam, An Alternative for Wow

I have played neosteam for a month now and so far its good, Since the opening of CBT it was my first time on this game, and i haven't know any idea on how to play this game, i'm a hard core gamer and i have played and tried many different games. Different genres and different themes.. Neosteam is very unique for what i have experienced, from their steam punk theme to the characters behind it ever the story.. I found it very awesome game ever!

I have played world of warcraft, and from neosteam's looks and details. World of warcraft have to think for a while because neosteam will be their very hard competitor when it comes to graphics

The gameplay is good, and for a first timer in MMORPG Neosteam is a newbie friendly where you can learn the commands very easily, GMs ingame are very helpful and active, they have a big respect to their players whether you belong to other country, where i do not find in other MMORPG..

I love the actions that takes place in every request that we throw, although some are hard because it envolves a user interface recreation they grant it very warm, enable us to have a enjoyful and good gaming life. I love how the developers and GM give a quick action regarding some technical matters.

So based on my over all experienced ill rate this game 10 out 10

First off WoW is one of those games that a F2P won't be able to get to his feet , well not counting Guild Wars.

Secondly Neosteam is just unique because of his "steam punk" theme who cares? still crap in the end .

what i mean is saying that neosteam will make a hard competitor to WoW.that dosent make sense , when they will hit 11 million people playing I will problably reconsidering this but till then nope. and have soe Features that WoW have and RS to that Neosteam lack totally into it

its around 39% of pop pay to play rest are f2p no it does not have to have just 1m players it has to have a steady player base with a raiseing cash flow and constant updates

right, let see.

To begin with, i agree with the OP that Neosteam is indeed an alternative for WoW. Because, what a lot of people (read:fanboys) still seem to be denying, is that World of Warcraft is NOT the only mmorpg out there worth playing.
Eventhough i have my doubts about neosteam's playability, on pure theoretic basis, it Is an alternative, just like Runescape or any other mmorpg out there.

As for the reasons given, that's where my agreeing opinion suddenly turns into a crystal clear horizontal nodding the head.
I'll begin by saying that i'm personally not a fan of World of Warcraft and would easily prefer the likes of Lotro, Everquest and soforth over WoW for whole cardbox of reasons.
But you have to stay real. Neosteam is in terms of quality, production value, investment value, Far superior compared to Neosteam.

Graphic wise, neosteam is generic, just plain awful and nothing compared to the quality of World of Warcraft. If you so care to compare graphics with WoW, take one that has a chance. In that case, perhaps Lotro, which makes WoW bite the durt in terms of graphics. But neosteam? that's plain ignorance and wishful thinking.

Gameplay wise, i sincerely doubt that neosteam is a barrel of content, if even a matchbox of it. Neosteam has a generic korean anime grinder feeling to it, and i'm pretty certain that it is.

i can keep this up, discussing every single comparable aspect between the 2. But the ironic part of what you said earlier (concerning comparing ducks to crocodiles), is that you are doing the exact same thing with Neosteam and WoW. Don't ever try to compare a highly rated P2P mmorpg which was founded on millions ,of dollars to a generic f2p mmorpg that doesn't at least shine between it's f2p bretheren.
In that aspect, P2P and F2P are the crocodile and the duck.

Neosteam is just another boring MMO there's really nothing to set it apart. It's even more boring than WOW. To say such a dull game can even dream of taking on WOW is silly. With the way P2P gamers think no F2P can ever compare no matter how good it may be. And Neosteam is just not that good.

the lvling is quite fast if you are in a good party in rear land...
the quests give good exp (not like MS...)
the community is funny and just sometimes a bit annoying...
killing elerds is so much fun =D
my guild is active and i like it in there (normally i hate guilds...lol)

and its still just OB o,O"

I'm going by what I've seen from most P2P gamers. They think that beacause they pay for something it's better. F2P games really aren't F2P they just don't charge a monthly fee and make money in another way. Also I find that most MMOs are that same and I refuse to pay a monthly fee only to get bored soon.

i've got 2 lvl 7X chars and 1 lvl 8X @ gMS...played it for quite a while...thats why i was comparing the quest-rewards "

and u know exactle what i mean...
"other korean grinders" -> 10000 exact monsters at the same place for many many hours for just a few exp...at lvl 30 for example...
NeoSteam is a korean game...fine...but not a "korean grinder" like many others...

and seriously...i didnt bash any game...i just wrote what i think and all you can do is "BLABLA. End."...thats just bullshit...

the cash shop isnt available so you shouldnt say something like that...at least not atm :S

@ Saltnpepper alot of f2p games are about the cash shop soon neo will get one offering mounts/weps/Expx2 and such like many games so it will either make it so 1.who pays the most wins the most 2.just for looks

And stop stateing graphics this graphics that graphics dont make the game they only improve it
