The only thing I ever liked about DBZ was when that one guy would put his hands together ago "Hawaiian Kiiiiiiing!"
That was great.
Otherwise, the show was stupid. No offense, but it was pretty much
"Let's have BBQ!"
"Okay, why not"
"Hey, I'm a villain, and YOU MUST DIE hahahah"

huge crater, but badguy comes out unscathed.

now the goodguys are all beaten up and bleeding
"This calls for desperate measures. I know/now remember X, which is an ancient technique/something I just remembered that will destroy badguy forever."

"Yay, we did it. Why we didn't do that before, I don't know. No matter, let's eat BBQ."

"Man, that BBQ was fun."
"Yeah, sure was."
"Hahahhaha, I am the bad guy from the last episode and you haven't killed me."

Maybe those are just the episodes I've seen, and they all happened to be a deviation from the norm. Either way, I've never thought highly of Dragon Ball
