    Default Big Problems.

i know this isnt a place to post my thread but ive been an onrpg member for a long time now and this is the section wer most people are. and i need help ASAP. sorry.

im juz wondering why my fps in Counter Strike 1.6 is low. i get 20-60 fps. which is really bad.. i did fps_max 101 already but it doesnt make any difference.. i pass the requirements. my video card is fine i think. its not dusty or anything. fan works. everything works. but my ram are differents brands which sums up to 2GB. but people are telling me that having different brands wont give me any problems. but yea. here's my specs. and pelase help me.

    My Comp Specs:

    Pentium IV 2.7Ghz
    2GB RAM
ATI Radeon x1600/1650 Series AGP 512RAM

I Think that is way past the requirements.. why am i gettin bad FPS! when i know i should be gettin 100fps st8 up. HELP ME.
    Really Sorry For The Trouble.

Do you have all your drivers installed? Also make sure your graphic card is getting enough power...

Sometimes, your PSU may not be supplying a sufficient amount of power to the parts of your computer (Mother board, CPU,GPU, etc). Of course it works but the performance if downgraded and if your video card isn't receiving enough power...then, it'll work, but not at max efficiency. Get it?

You might wanna try upgrading to a dual core processor. I have a similar system to yours and my comp can barely handle anything (prob cuz it's shitted up to the max), and I'm upgrading to a dual core 3.2ghz cpu, geforce 8800gt 512mb gfx card, and 4gb of ram.
