Own Diablo 2? Ladder reset team

On Tuesday at approximately 3pm PDT the Diablo 2 ladders are finished being reset.

We will be performing a Diablo II ladder reset on June 17 beginning at approximately 9:00 a.m. PDT. The reset is anticipated to require approximately six hours of downtime to complete, and during that time all Diablo II Battle.net realms will be unavailable for play. When the reset occurs all existing ladder characters will be moved to non-ladder. This provides a fresh start and new competition for leveling supremacy on the ladder realm.


Last year, the top players on ladder were a result from an 8 person team playing through the entire game together.

The choice of what ladder is the teams decision, either A) Hardcore Classic or B ) Normal Expansion

Never played Diablo II, is it any good? I was thinking about just downloading it, but seeing as Blizzard is such an ace company, I'm probably gonna buy it to support them.

Funny thing is I actually found a program that can generate cd keys but that's not really a problem with me cause I have like 3 cd cases lol.
Anyways the problem is that there aren't a lot of places you can download the game and if you find one it'll be hella slow.
When you do download it might I add it's a pain trying to install it cause the last time I tried downloading it then burning it to a cd the game was all corrupted in stuff so I quit with downloading it and borrowed the discs from my cousin.
