What are your three favorite features for a MMO?

    1. I really like skill based MMOs, like Asheron's Call or Ultima Online. Levels are good too, though

    2. Open world, I don't like instances everywhere except for dungeons or raids

    3. Crafting, I really like a good crafting system...especially one like Lord of the Rings Online where I can craft the best item instead of having to raid for it.

And what are your three least favorite features in a MMO?

    1. Mindless killing, with no explanation of why I'm killing a bunch of wolves. I like games with quests (or sometimes called tasks as well by some people) where the guy gives me the story of why I'm killing those wolves and then I get a reward at the end for it.

    2. Too many paid for expansions, which is why I never got into Everquest (I did play this for a few months) or Everquest 2...just way too many expansions. I like Eve Online's expansions, not too many and when there is an expansion it adds A LOT to the game and its for free to download and use.

    3. And my least favorite feature of MMOs (some may like it, I don't)...is PvE raiding, I really hate having to do raids to get the best equipment. I've tried raiding in EQ for a short time and WoW raiding for a short time...and I just don't like it at all. I would rather do crafting, exploring or PvPing.

So, what are your favorite and least favorite features?

    Best.

    1. Amazing graphics.
    2. Party-based combat.
    3. Steep learning curves.

    Worst.

    1. Generic grindfests.
    2. Generic quests.
    3. Cartoony graphics.
And if the cloud bursts, thunder in your ear.

You shout and no one seems to hear.

Ohmalawd, you just described Flyff. O.K. well I don't have favorite features per say but I have favorable aspects of one. Really it's just a matter of "Does this game have the x-factor?" Will it keep me playing for a really long time? If it is then it's fun & worth my time.

    What gave you that idea?

Meh, it's the only game I've stuck to for a decent length of time.

1: Great graphics, either very realistic or cell shaded. Flashy effects are preferred.

2: Fun combat, not requiring a ton of timing or anything, but rather very actiony.

3: Lots of jobs/classes that are all very distinct. It's preferred that they look very different as well.

    1. crafting or any trade skills. HATE!

    1) Trade Skills
    2) Pwnage quest system (like runescape)
    3) Lots of classes

    Least favorite:

    1) Some 3d graphics (True, i love good ol' 2d)
    2) Mindless pk (I prefer pvp arenas, like runescape has)
    3) Lack of customization

1.- Variety of skills and classes, full customization (like RO, lets face it, the game it's a grindfest but the huge variety of classes and skills makes you keep interested in the whole deal)

2.- WASD movement and gameplay (I ****ing hate "Stand and wait" games and point-n-click it's a thing of the past)

    3.- Good Crafting system

    4.-Persistent open-ended world

    Hate

    1.- Grind

2.- ******ed community (just a while I started playing grand chase just to find out the community it's equal or worse than WoW's one...seriously)

3.- Graphics, yeah, I know graphic's not everything in a game, but god dammit there's a limit you have to draw

    1. customisation/depth(skill and stat based not race or lvl based)
    2. housing anywere out of town on flat land.
3.pking anywere(even in town but when u try to pk intown guards can kill you) like ultima online.
i actualy need 4 so heres the 4th.
4.fps/wasd/no targeting(can set your own keys so u dont have to play wasd crapy set up of keys) played fps befor wasd and made way better key set up then wasd.

    1.Maplestory
    2.Latale
    3.Cabal

    EDIT
    sorry read it wrong.
    1.Mostly Keyboard based like maplestory
2.anime-ish? but basically not kiddy looking but not like majorly realistic looking
    3. Partying is a useful way of leveling

    least:
    1. all moust based except for shotcuts.
    2. if community is bad
    3. if the graphics are like your face is your foot.

more customazation, character creation wise (hair, height, color etc) compared to a console game
    Auto saving
    Fun to play with others

guess i do three dislikes as well

Generally less depth in all systems (battle, item creation, etc) compared to console.
Not being able to enjoy the game for server related issues (server checks, lag, downtime, hackers, rollbacks, wipes)
Auto lock on, no skill or hand eye coordination nessescary for a lot of MMO's.

-Turn Base Combat (Like FF8) or Action Combat (Like Oblivion)
-Customization to the ass (I want to look different, make skills, make weapons, change armor and weapons looks make sharks with lasers attached to their forehead, you know where im going now) (HGL where the addons ad to the image
-Realistic, less on stats (stat points are a one time thing really that shifts on the skills you use not points, like ultima online)

So i would play a Ultima Oblivion Gate Online or Final Ultima Hell online
