You could try Guncam, there is a trial then you have to buy it, unless you get it by other means (illegally).

There are a few portable ones but not all are free... Anyway, Infrarecorder is free and should be good enough

Seconded, fraps is a pretty good program to use.I dunno whats wrong with Fraps.
