To be honest, I don't listen to music to often except if there is music in a game. But, around my friends or family I do sorta listen to whatever they play...which around my friends is usually rap. Not saying rap and metal are horrible, I do like a lot of music...but if I had a choice I wouldn't choose to listen to rap or metal, they are my least favorite...but it won't kill me or bother me if I hear it if someone is playing it near me.
Saying that, I prefer country, rock, classical (hey, I like it), blues, Jazz and I listen to some others, but can't think of them at the moment.
