You know they say those who want to ignore the truth try and answer these types of questions with there being no evidence against a certain thing. People don't write those things, they just ignore them. As well I have a question, if not believe in Evolution because it is a theory, then you shouldn't believe in gravity because it's just a theory too.
But on topic, I am not religious but I believe that Jesus did in fact live. His great deeds I believe less of (water to wine) but I do believe that he did many things and brought the teachings of God to people.
On a side note I am wondering if anyone would like to talk about this "I contend that we are both atheists. I just believe in one fewer god than you do. When you understand why you dismiss all the other possible gods, you will understand why I dismiss yours"

Supposedly a carpenter and magician/miracle worker and excellent orator and spiritual guru who was worshiped by some people as the prophesied savior of the Jewish people around 32 AD.

Even if they prove that he existed,
    What then?

You just live once so make it the best of it, even if you have to live without a magical carpenter.

Ironic considering the name, 'Holy Paladin'.

Anyway, truth be told, we will never know. I have my doubts. I do not believe he is 'the son of god' because as far as I'm concerned there is no god, therefore nothing to be the son of.

Well again, all comes down to 'faith'. If you beleive Jesus existed then fine, if you don't well that's your opinion. I'm christian so i beleive he existed, duh.

The question is not whether he existed, rather, if he is in fact the son of God.

Historical evidence of Jesus? Is there really historical evidence of ANYONE back then? Its not like they had very organized systems or anything. Shit, if they didn't document regular people, why would they document some crazy dude who thought he was the son of God?

Just something to think about. Personally, I think he existed. Weather or not he was the son of God is up for debate with me, but I think he was really around.

I think that someone named jesus existed, but imo in the bible they hyped it and made it look way huger than it was, i mean come on, they belived that lightening/rain or watever was made by gods xD so anything that they couldnt explain was god's creation.

So i think that jesus was simply a normal human that did great things, exactly like there are nowadays and there has always been.

Oh and just couse its writen in the bible it doesnt mean that 100% of it its true, first of all it got translated and copied by hand so sometimes their writing was hard to read and some words/sentences got modified, second, harry potter books exist too but its not a true story. So maybe only half of it its true or you need to translate it to a more realistic version to get the real facts.

Im not telling you that its wrong to belive or wrong to not belive =P its simply how i see things, its your choice on what to belive.
