    Exclamation Slow internet

Hi I live in Australia which for those of you who don't know has some of the worst internet service providers on the planet even for a developed country. I love to play my games online especially GRAW2 but my internet (about average for an aussie) seems to be so much slower than the other players which gives them an upper hand, not their fualt but really annoying. I cant even get on xbox live cus my speed is to slow to join and to get the next speed up it's an extra $30 a month.

So I was just wondering if someone from another country could tell me what speed their internet is and how much they pay aswell as the country cus im doing a school report and I thought this would be an easy way to find out about the internet in other countries.

    Thanks for your help

Well , i am below avarage in my country but here it is :
    4mbit , 20gb of trafic allowed ( 1€ each 100 mb after i think .. i never exceed ) . 40€ + 50 cable channels . ( 20€+20€)

Now... the current best price in Portugal is something like..
18mbit internet with illimited trafic + "interactive tv" ( those gay boxes ) + cheap phone calls . For about 60€ . But since i don't use the traditional home phone line for years this service doesn't apply to me.

Hope i helped , Portugal kinda suks big time to as you can see

Your still lucky cus thats ten times better than what I get. 256kbs speed but I rarely get 150kbs with 25gb download limit and $1 for every 15mb over for $80 a month then another $100 for phone bill then line rental and if i want cable TV it also $80 a month and $50 for installation. Thats so much money you gotta be really rich and im not.

I'm from Australia and I don't have slow net.

    You should try TPG. 70$ = 150GB Download and ADSL2+ speeds (24mb/s+)
