Why isn't my wireless keyboard working?

Well, I've been using it for 2-ish weeks now, suddenly, it just stops working. I've tried pressing the button on the receiver (There's nothing wrong with it, it's working correctly) and pressed connect on the back of the keyboard, doesn't work... I've been using my wireless mouse the same amount of time, but, it still works. If you move the mouse or press a key on the keyboard, a blue light comes up on the receiver to show that it's working, but, when I press a key on the keyboard, the light comes up...but the keyboard does not make the magical black text come up on the screen, it doesn't function at all.

Any help would be appreciated.

The receiver could be too close or too far away.
That's the reason mine ceases sometimes anyways o_o

Maybe you hit the off button on your keyboard because some have that feature to conserve batteries. Or maybe some other device is running on the same frequency.

You may have static build-up under the keys. This can cause a failure to respond in the keys.

If this is the problem, its simple to resolve.
1. Remove batteries.
2. Press and hold each key down for 10-15 seconds (this will discharge the static build-up). You need to press and hold each key down one at a time or you may just transfer static. That would make your effort useless.
3. Replace the bateries.
4. Establish a synch with your receiver.

This can be used with anything that uses batteries and has buttons.
Remotes
Wireless controllers
RC remotes
Mouse
Keyboards

It can save you lots of $$ if that all it is.

You also may need to check the drivers.

I FPS All the time with wireless, I still manage to pwn.

Sorry I have never used or even seen that keyboard so I won't be much help.


And yea, you can still pwn with wireless, because most people are big sucky noobs.

But I bet if you got yourself a nice Razer keyboard and mouse you'd pwn even more.


EDIT: one thing you can try is to plug the receive part of the keyboard into a different usb slot. I have seen that fix some usb keyboard issues before.

Call customer service and see if they can help you. My wireless keyboard went stupid so i switched to a wire keyboard and am loving it.

didn't you have some problem with your OS? that might be the answer you're looking for :P if the keyboard needs drivers, reinstall them but don't know if it do any good in case the problem is your Vista
