Grind is okay in my book as long as it doesn't get seriously boring.

    Mines kinda Yes / No

Boring when you have nobody to grind with.
Fun when you have friends with you.

what i seem to like the most is games with lots classes and customisation with faster grind so i can cap more then just 1 character. like shadowbane i was able to cap over 22 characters. ultima online in all my years of playing it have caped over 50 characters.and like WoW pserver was alot funner for me then the real one couse was able to cap every character in the game but it was also good server. when you got long grind yuo feal stuck to 1 style of character. when you can cap alot you get good vareity of gameplay.

All MMO's have some grind but I don't like the ones that have pure grind.

I hate grind, which may be why I don't play many MMORPG's anymore. I lilke FPS's/fighting games, where you can get right into the action, instead of grinding to get to the good parts.

It makes me feel like I'm wasting my life sitting in front of a computer doing the same things over and over in a game just so I can play the better parts of that game.

I'd rather be grinding in real life, like practicing basketball. I always have to feel shitty and guilty when I spend too much time on a game when I could have been practicing my skills.

I say if you're going to grind, do it in real life, not in some game.

    But but but... Life doesn't go "Ding!" when you improve your basketball skills. ;.;

Overall, no..but for certain games (for one cabal online) it feels actually worth it to grind and BM1/2+combos/etc. are just amazingly fun...of course I hate the official x1 rates that makes it just too boring for me.

    Yeah its not like:
    *Dribbling +1*
    *You have leveled up!*
*Press k to allocate your skill point*

Real Life has no customization... until you hit a higher level, and even then, you have to be rich.

Anyway, I don't like grinds yet I still play MS...

Yeah, I don't mind if there is a lot of other things to do other then just grinding 24/7.

Grind is fun depending on the game.

    Especially if combat is interesting.

Fun as long as you have to use skills, grind in RO is fun, in Knight Online okay/ boring, in Kal Online 100% boring ...

I personally enjoy grind but it also depends on the design of the game.

i like group based grind like lineage II ffxi type stuff

i like aoe group grind most of all cause its fast and people have to actually pay attention

like 2moons dungeons are fast past aoe group grind and phoenix dynasty online was pretty fun grouping in the instances also (i played a priest)

i hated silkroad, of course i played a ice blader on like a 8 level sp gap so it took me ages to level and its way slower then spear/glaive in the 1st place

but on top of takeing forever to kill the monster i had to put my stupid imbue on a hundred times per fight and it would make my fingers hurt

In most cases no, because it's not enjoyable.

However, in very few cases they actually add some enjoyment to it which makes it actually acceptable.
