Default Looking for a good free MMORPG, please help.

Ok first off I didn't really want to post a thread like this as there are a great number of them on this forum, but I felt the need to due to the specs of my computer nowadays.

I used to play WoW, biggest achievement was making it through Gruul's Lair, after that I decided that most of the fun I used to have in the game had gone. As well as that, my motherboard and processor fried making me go from a 3GHz processor to the 1GHz one which I am using now. I have played other MMO's before too, in the form of Guild Wars, Dungeon Runners, MU Online but I have no desire to play any of them. Whilst there are others that I maybe would play again like Perfect World but my hardware is stopping me.

I tried Runescape last night and although I love the fundamentals like cooking and mining the graphics are just too awful for me to play it constant. I tried Endless-Online too last night which was ok but lacks direction and there is no story/dialogue whatsoever. Today I downloaded Conquer Online which looked like an improved MU Online(which I used to love) but it wouldn't get past the loading screen. Currently I'm downloading Last Chaos to see if it runs decently on my system.

So please if you can help,I'm looking for a good free MMORPG, which can run on:
    - Windows XP
    - 1GHz Processor
    - GeForce 7800 GS

    and which has(if possible)
    - Decent battle system
    - Quests
    - Story/dialogue
    - Good userbase
    - Crafting system(not a must)

I realize I may be asking alot but if you don't ask you don't get. Thank you if you take the time to read and/or reply.

    Much appreciated.

Dunno how I missed that thread, that's awesome.

Is there any you can specifically recommend from that list?

    Thank you very much.

Yeah Maplestory is very polished as an MMO but theres an intense grind....thats offset by the amazing customization(your character can wear anything from Jeans to Armor). NX cash can be bought from quite a few stores but you don't have to use it if you don't want to(although 500NX for 1 million mesos is a great deal for the next two weeks).

If you enjoy browser-based games, try Seeds of Time Online, as it meets all of those conditions.
