Well, bought a skateboard today, and as i expected, i suck so hard that my mouth is sor, but everyone starts somewhere. Regardless, im not sure where to start learning :s.

Well first you need to learn how to stay on it lol. Just ride around for awhile until you get used to pushing and turning and can comfortably ride it without having to worry about randomly losing balance and falling off.Originally Posted by kain222

What kind of board did you guys get. Seriously there are some cheap boards out there that are just plain hard to work with.

Think it was a maple somthing somthing,got it for 13 quid =|.
The trucks are frigging loose as hell, going to have to tighten them up some time.
Allso i've been trying to ollie but failing misrabley. Eh - yeah, but ill just try and get used to riding around.

Would've send you my pro deck if you paid the shipping fees if you told me" It only has a few chips and it needs new wheels cause I want to keep the glow in the dark ones xD I'm quitting the skateboard >.> no time next year xD It's either studying abroad or 4days work 1 day school...
