And how's that supposed to help?

This noise is premade. It's supposed to be a swooping sound, and I don't want it.

    LOLOLOL

When it comes to computer sounds? I don't think so. Rofl.

My "smartness" comes from inquiries and tests; which I have completed right now.

Well heres where the problem really started, because if you have Vista, when you right click on the desktop, one of the entries on the menu that pops up will be personalize.

If it's not there either your OS is broken, it's not Vista, or you're doing it wrong.

Srsly, come back when you know your OS. If we don't know your OS, it's many times harder for anyone to help you, and most won't take that extra time.

For the MSN thing, hit ALT to bring up the file menus, go to TOOLS, click Options. Click on Alerts and Sounds in the left hand menus, under sounds the New Mail path for me is "C:\Program Files\Windows Live\Messenger\newemail.wma" and for Contact Online is "C:\Program Files\Windows Live\Messenger\online.wma"

Check yours see if they are different.

Edit: For the sound when you max/min a window, goto control panel, dclick on Sounds and Options, click on the Sounds tab, under Program Events scroll down to Minimize and Maximize. Change the file it plays to None.
