Last.fm - I search up an artist I've been digging lately, and then check to see what artists are similar to them. Not always as helpful as I'd hope, but I've found some sweet shit thanks to this place.
xbox360achievements - They've got a news section and when I finish a game and want to start doing some achievement hunting, almost every game made has a nifty little 'guide' to obtain all the achievements. Again, not always as helpful as I'd hope, but it points me in the right direction most of the time.
There's a couple of others, like Bunalti and Mediaportal, but those 2 and this are the main dailies.
