Default World of Kung Fu [Classes]

    Everyone,

Not sure if there has been a topic/thread made about this. I understand that there is a IGN thread.

In this thread, I was hoping to hear from other players about their views. Rather be cons/pros on classes. What classes they like and things.

At the moment, I have a level 21 staff, waiting for the other two characters to get through the deletion. Which I find weird. So far it is a fun class. May not be as powerful as the others but, with the defense buff, I can round up like7-10+ yellow named guys. DO not got me wrong, I have pretty nice equipment. Still, being able to pull that many and hit them with out dieing is nice.

I want to try the Hammer and Axe, as I love the Axe. Speaking of which, I like most of the weapons in the game, except the fans and things.

    Sincerely,
    Ancestrial

WoKFu, when struggling with English means naming classes after weapons.

The best one hands down (and in mah pants ) is broadsword. Why? It pwns.

I struggled with the fan, not only soloing but also in a party. It's boring imo, and nothing really special about it...

Broadsword is supposed to be amazing PvP 1 versus 1. So many stun skills and things. I never tried Fan so I have no clue. Also, I herad that Swordsmen is not a good one to play either, as it's attack skills has a casting time?

    Broadsword - stunlock class
Fist - DPS / Skill spam class

Swordsman class is ok, people have problems with their aoe since it has a cast time.
They can do lots of damage with just one skill too. (I think it does triple their current damage..forgot)

I myself am an Archer and have to single target shit since my aoe needs freaking 100 aggression and archer's dont get the charge aggro skill so they have to use attack skills to gain them. (Lame) So I'm stuck single targetting mobs.

An old friend was a Hammer & Axe but quit it since he found the damage at lower levels to be mediocre. They get better at the later levels (I hear) and have nice party buffs.

Hook is pretty nice. They got 2 of the most useful buffs. The attack and defense buffs. They also have 2 MP healing skills and an HP healing skill. If you have 2 hook class in the same party, they can keep healing each other's mp for unlimited MP. (You can heal your own mp with the strong MP heal. The weak one requires 10 zen or watever you call it) This class has a very easy time to get into a party.

They have good solo abilty as well.

    M1nGs3N4yuk1,

What about damage though, I thought they could not do that much.

Hooks are harder to play in PvP, although, if you can rise to the challenge and find a perfect skill and equip build, you'll do absolutely fine. You'll be able to eat agression for MP, spam DoTs, and use a heal. Top that off with the internal injury stun and a couple good hits, and it's over. I might re-roll soon though, to a class that can wear my current armor, my current armor is friggin' amazing, it's all +6. I've been playing this Hook for too long, and WoKF is a fun game to reroll in.

Yeah, one game that has kept my interest. I personally love the Martial Arts/ Kung Fu aspect of the game. I have yet to try Hook but seeing some of the weapons on higher level characters, they look pretty nice.

To my knowledge there is only one server at the moment. As for PvP, I believe you can start around level 40, the cap AT THEMOMENT is 60, how ever they are raising it to 80 in the next patch. They say if a hook group with another hook, it can be a pure pain to take them down.

    Sincerely,
    Ancestrial
