Gears of War (PC)

So I bought the game and it finally arrived today. I put in the CD and installed it, and then double-clicked on the shortcut it made on the desktop (Startup.exe). After, it came up with a box asking me if I would like to allow Microsoft to take information to make the game better, etc. I press play game, and it started up, then I got an error message saying "To play the game double click on startup.exe".

I couldn't click "OK" because my mouse was gone so I pressed enter, then it went through the credits and exited out automatically.


Any help?

If you're on Vista try running it as Administrator (as you should do with ANY problem. some of the stupidest problems are by this). If that doesn't work, go into the root folder of Gears of War and run the exe there as Admin.
