I gotz some questinos about Perfect World :P i might try it because i hear alot of good things about it.


Is it Like totally cash shop dependant as in you will die if you dont sell your soul to the CS?

Is it a grinder?

Is it quest based?

Are the Quest FUN or grind in disguise ( Opinion Here)?

Hows the PvP?

Is it fun overall ( this is an opinion question too :P )?

kind of...some chars like werefox are rather CS independent, and will do well without CS. others like mages need CS like the air they breathe.

overall, the CS is a huge advantage for the buyers, due to hieros...but the game is (more or less) doable without CS

Is it a grinder?
yes. hell yes.
0.3 per mob at 20's. sure,that isnt too much of a problem thanks to quests giving 40% of the level
but soon the quests will be worthless too...funny enof,just when the grind starts being 1 ****ing million times worse

Is it quest based?
until lvl40 yeah,totally. after lvl40-50 you better get into AOE parties.

grind in disguise,and terrible
walking for +10 minutes (+600 seconds,word) to kill some mobs that will take you...50 seconds to kill.....
then start walking back to claim the reward

thats a ****ing ******ed system,if u ask me. 85% of the quest time,you will be walking from A to B to C to D,and back to A. sure,grants loads of exp, but dude...its BORING as hell.

Hows the PvP?
just like any other point-click-and-use-F-keys mmorpg.nothing groundbreaking here...at all.

its not very bad, its not very good.loads and loads of features, huge world, semi-decent community,awesome gfx...

its biggest con is the huge grind but oh well....99% of the games have a similar grind,and mostly lack the rest of features that PW have so...since going f2p you are gonna play a grind game anyway, at least play a good grind

Its not CS based...Since you can buy CS for ingame money...
Its not grindy if you quest
So yeah its quest based
Its kill these bring these and kill boss quests(but they reward like 40% each quest so its worth it)
the PvP is great!
Its not like everyother point and click..
Since here you can fly and you got hieros
You need to follow your enemies to the skies chase them
and etc...its so much more than just point n click
i say this game is 9/10

It may not seem CS based but the way it is now is that Hieros(Which are necessary for werebeast's,mages,healers,and some knights) are mandatory to level and do HH cost a complete fortune in game cash so unless your using the cs you'll be hard put to it.
