I'm also a former longtime RO player and out of those I enjoyed Domo the most. OP, you should definitely give it a try.

And Maplestory has a lot of cashshop stuff. You cant even access some things without using cashshop.

Well, the game nowhere near cashshop dependent, the only thing that could give you an advantage is the double exp cards. But the game also has a trading system that allows people to trade in-game items for cash shop points, so people who dont buy cashshop points can still get cashshop points by selling items to other players.
