Gmod help

k i downloaded Gmod, and i really needed some more shit to tinker with, so i went and downloaded Phoenix Pack or whatever its called. and when i start the game and i open ANY PHX folder/Category, it crashes, i get:

- HL2 has stopped responding
- then, a Runtime Error
- and then to top it all off this "CmodelLoader::FindModel: NULL name"

very random and useless, any ideas?

that has never happened to me before, you could try getting it through SVN? Maybe the one you downloaded was a dud
