Ya it is a good computer because I could max out everything in Mass Effect and not lag.

I didn't even have to built it too just customize it.

And yet again Crisis is over rated....again.

Seriously man, why are you getting such a crappy, yes, crappy game that demands such high quality. No, this isn't as a biased opinion. I have played it, compared it's gameplay mechanics to several other games and have come to a conclusion that yes, in fact, it's not that of a great game except for it's core in essence of being a vid card processing monster to run everything perfectly because of it's physics and graphics.

Now, either you play the whole game through and actually compare, or don't get the game because newfags tell you to get it, because obviously, as you can tell, THEIR opinion is biased because allllllll they mention are the graphics in the game and nothing else. Yes, you've just fell into a pitiful void of contraptions that will trap you in and blind you from all the obscurities that are, or at least were, right in front of you.

Conclusion: Don't get a computer that good, which really isn't necessary because trends are saying and telling you that you should buy Crisis, which really you might not even enjoy; all that will probably make you waste money and time. Wait, isn't time money? So Money or time^2

More people play Battlefield 2, actually.

well, if you're only interested in 1 or 2 high spec games, then yeah, buying a monster computer is a bit ******ed IMO - but you can also look at it as an investment. If you buy a computer than can play crysis on max, then you'll probably be able to play games on that computer for a long time without having to do any serious overhauls.
    What's wrong with that?

ok....first I would like to list something said about crysis....

there are many types of settings for qualities...

    low

    medium

    high

    very high

    ultra high

on direct x9 you can only use high settings......which is not very demanding

on direct x10 you can use very high settings....which is still not to demanding if you have an 8800GT OC 512mb or higher card, but it will be choppy at some parts...

you can access these settings even without those requirements by tweaking the config files around

the only way to get ultra high settings is to manually tweak the config files to get them to work........and on those setting no computer out can run on 60fps or higher heck even the newest cards out will be slow on it....

I didn't look through the all the posts but I wonder what video card you have......

now I have played through all of Crysis and have to say it's more like eye candy than anything...I still found it fun, but for most of the part aside from the graphics I wasn't blown away at anything else they did....

also my computer cost me a little over $500 ( though I was able to get good bargain deals) and my computer can place crysis on all very high settings and a mod to make it look even better and it still runs smooth....

.....I played Crysis on ultra high and it ran a little slow.....

oh and if you add in my LG 22 inch monitor then it would be $750.

and yes graphics don't make the game they just draw those mindless zombies in with eye candy.....heck my favorite game is portal and it's only 2 and half hours long and isn't the best looking......

it's just most kids think of graphics first...they haven't lived in the era before 3d graphics......the 8 bit era is the stone age to them....
