Angry Why can't 90% of Onrpg's community stick to a topic?

(First things first...I am a hyprocrite)

Hello, although this is my first post I'm not new to Onrpg, I regularly browse to gain information on games as it can be an invaluable resource. (thanks in advance for all the information that this community has provided)

Forgive me (or don't forgive me) for feeling as though my first post should ironically enough be a complaint about the bitching/ranting/going off topic etc. that goes on, on these forums.

Onrpg is overrun with socially inept people young and old alike who feel the need, the absolute necessity to flame/*****/cry about smallest of things and hijack a thread and turn it into some sort of self righteous crusade to be right about the lamest of things.

Why Onrpg? why? why can't we all just get along?

I wouldn't be surprised if this topic hijacked into some sort of lame argument.
I guess that I'm actually a hypocrite for actually complaining but damn it's too painful...why do you put up with it?...

Thanks for reading, I guess i'll leave this open to debate or whatever it turns into.

Human nature... maybe the fact that it is anonymous and people can say whatever they want without paying the consequences of what would happen in real life if they said the exact same thing?

haha, is that an excuse or a reason?...being an online gamer as reason/excuse as to why people can't keep stupid comments to themselves, I mean I enjoy a constructive piece of banter and i'm all for it, but when i read the words 'your mum' as an example then i'm hardly impressed and feel insulted, more that someone is so ******ed as to type that than the actual comment itself.

c'mon this was intended as topic/debate not.........It's the internet, people are ******s end of discussion although that appears to be the general consensus, It's a lame one sided excuse.

*sigh* i know my words will just bounce off your thick skull xente, it's a lost cause even typing anything constructive. So I pose it to you, don't reply.

for your info, we get along just fine. and arent you the one flame/*****/cry-ing right now?

"Why can't 90% of Onrpg's community stick to a topic?" thats becuz each thread ppl make are one topic. so basically, if we stuck to one topic, there will only be one thread.

i didnt bother reading the whole thing.

because onrpg's citizins have and feel the need that if mommy and daddy arnt around, they can say and do whatever they want, regardless of prior knowledge to the topic givin. To the people that do know what there talking about, have an issue with knowing when to draw the line

    if I say

    "no your wrong, exc........

than people will accept that there wrong or choose not to accept it, but reply in an orderly fashsion without offending someone

    Now if I say

    "No you ****ing ******, exc........

notice how a lot of people would feel the need to start an argument here. This is what the people that know a lot, would probobly say because they feel obligated to say IM RIGHT YOUR WRONG,with at the same time trying to feel like they just won a huge battle and add various curse words to it to make them sound like their the best and nobody can stop me, this also is pending other factors.

    Two words: Cry More

I think it's natural for humans to act bitchy to each other. (even though it shouldn't be like that)

Arguing, not getting along, and treating each other bad, is a natural feature of human beings. besides, it is freedom of speech. I mean, I'm pretty sure some of us know each other in real life, but I'm never gonna see any of you.

    Sucks, doesn't it?

Well Perfectly valid reasoning as to why people might say such thing...but no logic in their arguements or why they persist.

It's pretty naive to expect people to never argue. As long as there are different ideas, there will be arguments. I actually think it would be a bad thing if no one ever argued - because if you're not fighting with words, your shooting at each other.

I think we can all agree that the former is probably best.

Well, let's put it this way.

    Onrpg is a thong.

You love to see us and hear (yes, it's metaphorical) from us and maybe make fun of us depending if we're worn by people you love or don't love. And you also may be disgusted by us because if we're used, we're dirty, we're not clean, and we're definitely not "the same."

Love us or hate us? I choose both.

Authoritarian... yeah maybe that's the right term but it also has part "democracy", right? Since people are allowed to express themselves, be it a flame or debate... well maybe not the flame part but its still here.
