Gah, I guess SquareEnix will never come out with something new when they know fans will buy all the rehashed shit.
    Don't you get it?
I have a feeling Square is remaking this for the newer gamers that have never played it.
If it gets good sales they might (This is just my perspective on it.) release new games in the Chrono series.

Nobody cares what you'd rather play. You see, you're all about graphics. The kind of person that wastes hours gaming for eyecandy and zero satisfaction.

You're the kind of guy that plays one snes game and decides to destroy it because it's graphics aren't good. It's sad.

Chrono Trigger, for it's time had some of the best graphics, and in term of 8bit RPG's, it pretty much stands unmatched.

The content of the game is millions of times deeper than 70% of the graphical diarrhea that's being presented to us today. Take for example Crysis, the game is full eye candy, no depth or immersion factor, it's simply pretty graphics using rehashed game play mechanics, that's why the games multiplayer servers are so low on population.

As for your perspective on what makes a game, I know you're sucking your own dick on that one. Putting popularity first? Popularity is achieved through immersion and depth of gameplay, with an ADDITION of graphics, and special effects.

Chrono Trigger has an always will be, one of the most original, complex and immerse story lines to hit the world of gaming, and if you think about it, very few games, new or old, can compare to it.

Just shut up kid, you're below the bar of fail.

On a lighter note, I CANT ****ING WAIT!!!1

Moar reason to buy a DS
QFT......im so glad you brought up that point....chrono triggers graphics are still awesome till today...i have yet to see an 8 bit game with details like that.....another thing i loved about this game is that you can actually see where you will encounter a battle so you have a chance to avoid a fight if you want to it wasnt the typical random battles....and the tri attacks were pwnage....even if they keep its original gfx on the ds i would love to play it again.....and just like serix said all those gfx whores of now a days dont know what theyre missing.....games are like guys...if theyre focusing too much on looks that means theyre trying to compensate for what they lack lol

    i just need to mention
you guys, you seriously think its gona be a direct port? LOL
look at the treatment they gave FF4.
Chrono trigger is one of there most criticaly acclaimed titles, they wont just port is, expect graphic overhaul, voice overs, extra content, and such.

also, espada, please stop posting, the ignorance and stupidity of your post make me want to /quit life
