I don't think we will see much new mmorpg for a while.
I don't think we will see much new mmorpg for a while.
the economy has been in the hole for years now, yet koreans still drop their shitty games on us.
OMG, completely agree, even though I'm 14 and don't have to worry about it, I have to graduate top of my class just so I can go to college because my parent's can't afford it.
This post is made of incorrect assumptions. I could go on, and on, and on, but instead I'll provide one counter-example to prove your reasoning is false.

Reputation: 11I just played like 3 closed beta games coming out and signed up for 2.
Yup, there's absolutely no games coming out.
If it was, would MMORPG's seriously be something you find worthy making a topic about?

Reputation: 14If a recession never happened guess what, the economy would collapse. Recessions <-> Inflation. They balance each other out, if prices get too high (inflation) a recession tends to occur to correct this. When the recession has gotten bad enough, prices inflate again. Its a never ending chain, dunno why people are like ZOMG THE ECONOMY IS DYING! Its a natural cycle.
THE WORLD IS GONNA END!!!!!!! WITH YOU!!!!! NUH NUH NUH NUH NUH NUH NUH NUH DUFFMAN!!!! in 2012! anyways!
Reputation: 13I hope you guys know we cant go into a depression. Canada, Mexico, then the UK, and other European country's will give us money not to, cause if we go into depression we **** up there economy too. Besides MMO's can help the economy if the make more jobs right? so that helps no?
****ing Knotsucker!!!! Horse Shit!!!
Reputation: 13we are in a Succession not depression.
Dark Aztaroth? if 1$ is suposta represent 1$ in gold(which right now represents like .---- something),
then they give us money
(10 billion worth in gold for say), and we put that into our treasury, then 1$ is worth more than .----, and now it would be .1 or something like that, then the economy would stabilize, as we wouldn't be paying 100 per barrel we would be paying 70, same price, but more money in our pockets.
We use paper and its all messed up, we print more than we have. but if its more equal the more money we get to keep cause its worth.
a million $ worth will fluctuate, in a good economy it would be worth a million $ but that doesn't happen anywhere.
thats basically economy 101 right there.
all in all, MMO's help the economy alot cause rich people create jobs, jobs stimulate the economy and may not fix it... but certainly will help it.
most other countries hate the US, so yeah i don't see them giving us any cash anytime soon, not to mention the fact we OWE people money as it is.
Reputation: 13They can hate the US all they want, again i say, the world will go to SHIT if we go into a depression, look at the 30's, they are not going to let it happen again, we are a power in the world if we fall it all goes with us.
We owe a trillion, and honestly they don't really care if they pay them back, not anymore at least.
if the us falls, the whole world will not just stop, look at Rome it was a power and it fell quite easily with no significant lose of anything.
Persia was also a power, and its gone now, same thing as rome.
but maybe i'm just looking to far into this.
Reputation: 14Although, when we fell into the great depression it caused alot, if not most, other major countries (China, Great Britain, etc) into a depression also. So our economy does indeed have a significant effect on the world.
I heard the world's economy is really bad right now.
So how would free mmos budget?
if it happens again i think they would hoard the money as to not feel the worst effect of it.

Communism is the chemo.
it depends on ones view of communism, if its Stalin's view then hell no, if Lenin's then yeah it could work.
According to my sources america has a communist party.
