and now when I click it, it doesnt work at all. Nothing even shows up.

Reputation: 195have you checked to see that the themes service is running?
go start -> run and type in "services.msc"
go down till you see one call themes and check to see if its status is "started" and its also set to automatic.
that should let you change the computers theme now![]()
Reputation: 27Are you ignoring any warning messages that Windows is saying?
After you restart, then the theme should be the old windows classic theme. Just run the .msstyle then.
Also, you can put it C:\WINDOWS\Resources\Themes to make it show up in the dropdown menu when you are changing themes.
