    Default Mapping a network drive...

K, I got my new laptop, but the problem here is...all my shit is on my server. I just mapped the drive, and set it up in Itunes...but now every time I restart my system I get a "OH MAN WE COULDN'T CONNECT TO ALL YOUR DRIVES", and I have to type in my username and password again.

There isn't a "connect at logon" selection I can find, nor a "save password".

    Anyone?

    EDIT!

I just found this...I suppose its one of these options, but I don't wanna **** with anything until I get a second opinion.

So, do I want users, or root?

It more looks like you have advanced sharing settings turned on. You get a lot more options with it, but at the same time if you don't know what all those options do and how to work with them it's harder to manage.

To turn on basic sharing settings, open up the file explorer. Then Tools > Folder Options.
It should be somewhere in there. Look for something that handles the "View" options, and then find where you can turn the advanced sharing settings on and off.
After that, you'll have to set up the shared folders again, but it's a lot easier.
