Taking a stroll down memory lane is very nice and all, just try not to compare it to how the forums are today.
You will cry. I did.

ive pretty much been here since Onrpg started....
Reputation: 14I used to go to gamefaqs all the time for cheats or other stuff over a decade ago....
before that there was another website I went to for my super Nintendo games....before all those next gen systems came out....
I wonder if supercheats.com is still running.....
you guys should have seen what yahoo looked like when it came out in 1995....
I remember back in school when we just got our computer lab built the teacher was showing us how to use the internet...( I already knew how to use it)...he told us to go to yahoo.com and I think I typed in an extra letter or something because it popped me into a porn website lol!
I bet some of you remember those annoying AOL cds you got in the mail too.....
I couldn't go back to 95 version of yahoo....
but here is the earliest version I could...in 1996

Maybe it's a sort of rose-tinted glasses sort of thing for me, but I thought old onRPG was much more fun, mostly because it was much smaller and therefore easier for the staff to manage without having to crack down hard on everything and everyone. With big communities like we have now, you just can't get that kind of environment
... plus my old colour scheme was cooler (still waiting for new options here) >_>
edit: not that I'm going to leave or anything. I still like a fair few of the people on here, and it's pretty much my home on the net and all. Just saying.
That archived site is missing the Roleplaying section! It's a trap!
Tfc2 is coming with hl2, I'm so excited.

This has been posted many times before, actually, but it's still cool. I, for one, have no problem with it.
