    Default Floating Islands in the Bermuda

    I just found this and it freaked me out, its islands floating from the bermuda.. anyone think its fake or real? U can even see the shadows and water dripping from the island to the ocean

    Most likely the position of the sun is creating the shadows.

    To add to this, even if the islands were floating more of it would be exposed etc.

    if it where the sun , how to u explain the island on the right wich is closer to the sun , why doesnt it have a shadow.

    Could be a change in water depth. there is more to an island than you see above water, so there would be more to be exposed.

    Also look at the separation marks made by the waves and current going around the islands, wouldn't be there if they were floating.

    10 miles, if only it ain't a bird's eye view kind of photography.. it would be an awesome sight to see, FLYING ISLAND~~~ and creeps at the same time.

    The date and time that the imagery was gathered by the satellite was checked against local newspaper reports, but no mention of the incident could be found. Upon further investigation, it was ascertained that the final episode of the popular TV show 'American Idol' was airing at the time, which might explain the absense of eye-witness accounts of this unusual event.

    I kinda lol'd.

    Look closer guys, those are shadows from clouds.


    Hate to ruin your fun and all...but if you frequent Google Earth, you know what I'm talking about.

    The clouds seem much too small and dissipated to form shadows like that. Plus, I doubt the translucency of a cloud can create shadows as dark as that.

    Looks like a shop to me.
