    Default Dying.

Now. Not to disturb anyones religious views, or anything.
    But.
Once you die, or dying. You begin to see a white light...
Could it be that you simply get reborn as a new baby somewhere in the world, with no memory of what happened to you, which could explain the white light.
babies are blind when theyre just born (I think), but could the white light be simply the uterus/vagina/w/e opening up? Then after that point, you don't remember anything of what happened?

Nothing happens after you die, you die you die you stop existing and all humans fear it due to a natural instinct:survival so we invented religion to cope with the truth.

That's one view of it Mr. Black.

Now, let's get an answer from someone who's not completely ignorant.

As for me, I personally have no religious views. I just go along with the proof. And until there's a proof of God, I'm staying Athiest or whatever it's called when you have no view.

Might seem weird but one thing that make me believe in some life after death is ghosts/spirits and things.

But yea, I've imagined that sometimes, but I hate the fact that you wouldn't remember anything.

I believe there is a creator but I also believe religion is a complete load of shit if someone created us to worship him he is one sick piece of shit.

I find its interesting according to many scientist
and one of my favorites included michio kaku
believe that the human was not designed to die
just like the tree its due to the misfiring of cells
which could be reversed and as you could guess
the product would be longer lives which would
be great and all but seeing friends and family pass
and go would start to take its toll and life would
soon become mundane i would suppose

The light is the powerful awesomeness of the kit selection screen before you respawn.
Either that or it's the golden shine of the gates of Valhalla.

No one knows there could be an afterlife there could be nothing. All I know is I'm here for some reason and I'm gonna die some day. There's really nothing more to it than that.

lol I agree but give it time for it to be accepted fully (prolly a couple hundred years, expect thousands if a new religion or two pops up)

You will never be able to disturb anyone's religious views.

Yeah man. I'm totally into the reincarnation idea. I don't necessarily think it means you are human. Shit, it could be ANYTHING. The first light a baby bird sees when an egg cracks...the first light a plant sees when it grows. Hell...even a "big bang" that creates a universe (you could be a new planet).

    The possibilities are endless.

It could also explain still born children...if you have ever had an experience where you've been really close to dying, you can relate. You might SEE the light, but then there is a pulling feeling, and you go away from it.

It just makes me feel better to think like that. If I die, and just rot in the ground...shit, thats OK too. But I know matter cannot be created or destroyed, just changed...and I like to think that way about life as well.

Yes, I do believe in God, I'm catholic. But the reincarnation thing has been on my mind for so long now, that I've started to believe in it. Maybe not as a human, but as any other life form, who knows?

That is the very contradiction of catholicism.

    I'm catholic too.

P.S. How do you have 26 rep?

I believe that once we die, we cease to exist. There is literally nothing.

Imagine going to sleep and not dreaming but not waking up.

    That is death to me.
And if the cloud bursts, thunder in your ear.

You shout and no one seems to hear.
