Personally I believe there is something after we die. Dunno what, but I think our human brains are too tiny to comprehend it. Just like an animal can't understand complex math and stuff like that our brains can't possibly understand what goes on after you die.

Since we can feel pain and everyone is greedy and selfish it resembles purgatory more then the real world.

Or the world is just a video game I bought that takes longer then expected....
Even longer then some of my Final Fantasy save games.

EDIT - Would the game I bought prehaps be GTA "enter large number here"?
you are a idiot arnt you?

Even more awesome because its truth, IMO, believing the bible is like thinking that middle earth existed (has in LOTR) just because tolkien wrote it.
    Same concept.

It is true, thanks to religion, people die, wars are fought.
    Hilter vs Judaism.

    Great example.
Though still, a very vague one.

Now. It is like believing that middle earth existed simply because it has in the eyes of the reader.
Though, we can't exactly exclaim that something didn't happen just because we weren't there when it had occured/been written.
