Fallout Series...

So im downloading Fallout 1 and Fallout 2 and just wanted to get peoples opinions on it, because it seemed most of you were hyped to hell about Fallout 3 and Ive never even heard of the series so I might as well take a crack at it.

but, yah whats your thoughts on the first 2 and are they even any good?

You need to patch those games because the developers have a nasty habit of being ****tarded in terms of releasing a finished product. Look at their latest releases KOTOR 2and NWN 2.

The people who gave us FO 1 & 2 were not the ones who gave us KoTOR & NWN. Bethesda obtained the rights to the FO franchise a few years ago from Black Isle Studios. The only real link that Bethesda has in development of a FO game is FO 3. Its far from being FO 1 & 2, which were created by Black Isle Studios.

The games never had any bugs that I noticed when I played them. I replayed them several times over since both of them can end a few different ways.

I think you're confused. I said KOTOR 2 and NWN 2 which were made not by Bioware but a different developer (Obsidian, who contain the lead programmers and designers of Black Isle). Troika also containing a few of Black Isle team members have also made a couple of games. They're all known to have games with a shit-load of technical bugs that break the game and unfortunately severely dent what could have been excellent to slightly above average.

Like I said patch the FO1 and FO2 with the official and fan-made patches because they're very annoying to play without them.

No, I am not confused. Your little logic is a bit far fetched when it comes to gaming development. So, they have some staff members that were on both games. Does that mean Mythos is created by Blizzard?

2 different companies is the jist of what I am saying. I may not be up-to-date with who developes what presently, but you failed to comprehend what I am saying.

Also, at the time I played FO 1 & 2 (they were new releases), I never had to patch them (couldnt, I could not afford internet at the time). I was able to play both of them without patching and never had any errors. I still have both on my old PC, and guess what? Still not patched. My son and wife plays both of them all the time. No glitches or errors yet.

Also, I have been a FO fan since it came out. I have all the games (on PC and console). I even have a few FO shirts with their mascot toon on them.

well both are installed, im gonna go play it now, and im not really one for action games. Im more for depth and customization.
