Quoted for truth. Most of my friends just get to 30 and quit. If even that. One of my friends got PK'd everytime he left town. No clue why. I rarely get pk'd and so do my other friends. Poor, poor him.

So true, most people give up on the game because they never get to the point in which they can fight back
others because they're not into PvP and even tho L2 got a lot of Raid Bosses to PvE, its nothing as worked into as WoW(even tho the "Epic" Raid bosses are pretty damn challenging)

I dunno you guys, but I love games where I Can PK anyone, no matters if he wants to duel or not. Open Pvp games drag me into it...

And not that Bs of pvp servers, because people who log on that server want to pvp...

well to clear this question only people should vote who played all of the games into high or maybe max lvl areas.

i had many lvl 80s in L2 1 retail 79 2 wow lvl 70 but i didnt play EQ2 (only trial)
i didnt play AoC and i only played ultima for a few days on private server..

so i cant realy say which of em would win.


i think every game has a few areas where it realy shines.. in WoW it is PVE n instances.

in L2 its pvp n castle sieges, olympiad.. basicly all about pvp. but compared to wow its grindy ^^ but WoWs pvp is for pussys compared to all the other games.


and yeah wow is more noob friendly..its made for idiots

if they went free they would fail specialy WoW the servers would be over loaded and there would be lots lag and delay of getting on servers.ultima online actualy the best one but its 12 year old game and to many want graphics. give wow 12 years itll be so used up wont even get 12 years befor they move to another version of it like everquest did.

I played retail and private server

ok the mounts(wow a saber or a noob dragon)

In linage2 you can have real Dinos that really looks like a dino and not some retarted looking animal


The pvp in world of warcraft is lame

in lineage 2 the pvp is epic


I played Lineage 2 x35 private server( with 3 servers all with 1500 players)
I was really addicted to that server it still took a lot of time to get 50+ but with all those dungeons it was really amusing because your Dino can fight to Yes and it has a level 2


Castle Siege is just Epic Wyverns(Big flying dragons Yes they are mounts) are flying all over the place


The new Areas that just came out are epic.


I would say Lineage 2 for sure if you get lvl 60+ World of warcrap cant compete to that

This isn't a discussion on which game you think is better based on your personal experiences, you only say Lineage 2, because THAT'S THE GAME YOU WOULD PLAY if they happened to go F2P, because apparently you had the most fun on L2.

I'm not trying to bash on L2, but it's just a cold hard fact that WoW would win with its already HUGE playerbase.

They all would lose because they would be out of money sooner or later since they don't support a f2p business model...
Lineage 2 and Everquest 2 would win cause I could see it opening up a cash shop or something...
Ultima = insta loss (for me don't say anything...)
I don't see WoW doing it though cause if you look at the reason why people are so addicted to it is the gear.
If it set up a shop it would be dumb because they can't sell equipment or exp boosters because what would be the point of playing if you could buy your gear plus the exp boosters or anything to enhance gameplay would result in loss...
EQ2 and L2 may win if they rework their content a bit but I would say L2 out of the two.
