Indeed, but they often seem to forget that. Death, war and more or less suffering is a heavy theme, and though the characters are kids, there is plenty for an older mind to enjoy in the show. I've never watched either channel, except to catch the occasional episode of Avatar. Apparently, they plan to expand the franchise, so there is hope (As long as they keep the current staff) - but I'll admit it's just a small little ray.
