Default Hellgate london Vs Mass Effect

I'm going to buy one and just wondering which one would you suggest, NOT FOR THE GRAPHICS!

Which one do you think is better based on which one is going to keep me busy the longest. Mass effect has a 60 level cap but all it is is playing the same campaign over and over again after you beat it you cant really explore and kill things and have fun, Hellgate london I'm not sure about but I want somthing more or less like after you finish the game you can still kill stuff and play. Such as games like Elder scrolls for the PC where you can just wander off from the quests and go do whatever you want. Also I'm leaning twards Hellgate london because Mass Effect cant be modded which cuts out on stuff like raising the level cap ect. I dont know if Hellgate london can be modded either but thats why I'm asking

    HG:L is going to die?

    Funeral time!

Mass Effect isn't long. Infact, it's short. Very very very short. But it was the best RPG i've ever played. Only bore is after you end the storyline, you can't go back and cruise around on the Mako(A spacetime APC. It's pretty awesome to drive it) or do missions. I didn't get to visit Earth . Oh and graphics are mind blowing, only thing that made them less awesome was my screen. And it's somewhat good.

Mass Effect and HG:L aren't compareable. Browse the internet. Google.

Mass effect it's ten times better, HG:L it's just a game released "too early" and in a chaotic state

can you tell me how it isn't besides that its not in the starwars universe? the games are almost exactly the same, which is a good thing, not a bad thing.
honestly, the only difference are the graphics, universe, and light and dark are changed to paragon and renegade. even the biotics are force powers renamed biotics.

The game engine, the play style (Mass Effect is NOT D&D rules, KOTOR was), KOTOR had very little free-roam, I can list many other things. I think you're just basing it off they are both futuristic and both you can have a team with you.
