Default I just download and installed service pack 3

It seem that automatic updates doesn't detect SP3 and I had to install it manually by going to the window updates section on the Microsoft website.

So does Sp3 provide good fixes?

by the way, just out the question is it ok to download something while your defrag your hard-drive?

Use Google and look up the fixes, then decide for yourself.

Lay off the New Thread button, it's not a challenge.

It's best not to do anything while de-fragmenting your HD.

You're not suppose to do ANYTHING on your computer when you're defragging it.

All you're suppose to do is start the program running, and then leave the machine alone until either the defrag is done, or you quit it yourself.

    Crap, I didn't know that.

    Will it damage my computer?
Do I need to do it again?

Depends, I used to defrag while doing other stuff and my computer is fine. The defrag might just be incomplete.
