The good: the background
The in between: the little guy doesn't seem to fit into the background drawing style for some reason.
The bad: the text doesn't work at all.
Overall, I like it. It reminds me of Okami, one of the best games ever, and it doesn't get overly complicated. The text probably needs some work, though.

yea i couldnt think of anything for the text so i got stuck lol...i was gonna draw my own signature onto it with the tablet but i write too sloppy

Actually, if you can control your writing a little bit, I think it would fit in nicely, as long as you used some blending for it to match the background a bit. Since I was thinking, text that would probably work for it would be calligraphy, or some sort of hand-drawn style. And apparently, you had the same idea.

It's a lot better. It isn't perfect text, but I'd have to give the original a 7.5/10, this one gets an 8.5.
