People always assume that aliens are better and cooler then us.
Prehaps we shall become the aliens and attack them.

    Never thought about that?

Well, if you think how big the universe actually is, it's quite hard to say that there's absolutely no chance of anything else living out there.
And if the cloud bursts, thunder in your ear.

You shout and no one seems to hear.

It's equally as statistical that we could be the only intelligent life in the universe. There might be something. It might not be another physical form of life. If you've heard about the different type of dimensions then who is to say that life might just exist in a different dimension then our own? Hell, we could have life-forms co-existing with us on our own planet that we'd be completely un-aware of.

Life in other planets? Of course! Thermophiles, for example, might exist in numerous moons and even in the atmosphere of Mars.

Intelligent life that travels even faster than the speed of light? Impossible.

What's funny, is that most people don't even realize that it's completely impossible to go faster than the speed of light. There are no "Lightspeed" or "Hyperdrive" engines and there never will be.

How can you prove that? Maybe there are things that go beyond our own human intelligence. I'm not saying that you can travel the speed of light, but you can't say its impossible just because it hasn't been done.

I love this subject but I wont comment on it much since this most likely will turn out into a war between "believers and non believers"

I think its terribly arrogant to think that on a ever expanding Universe to which we haven't even explored 1% we're the only superior life form, but that's just me.

It kinda seems ignorant to me for people to think that within all of the billions of planets in the universe, possibly trillions that aliens don't exist. Sure they probably haven't visited earth yet, sure they're probably don't exist within our solar system or maybe even our galaxy. It's another thing that people keep thinking that aliens will be smarter then us or more advanced in will always look like this:

It's very likely that aliens are less advanced life forms or possibly just homosapiens from other galaxies who knows maybe there are aliens who are twice as intelligent and advanced as humans are and others could be very primitive possibly bugs.

What do you mean? It's already been proven. The equation of E=mc^2 shuts it down. The faster an object travels, the heavier it gets. The heavier an object gets, the energy that is required to push it increases. Eventually the object will reach a mass that is so heavy, no amount of energy in the universe can propell it further. It can't go faster than the speed of light because there is nothing left to push it on. It's been proven mathematically to be so.

XD we can never admit and come to terms with the existence of aliens as long as religion is so important to everyone

XP i find the idea credible, dont know if i can trust anyones account of their encounter though

Isn't that equation just a theory? And, again, you can only say that it's impossible, according to our human knowledge. There could be other things out there that's beyond our knowledge and understanding.

No, that equation is not a theory. It's been proven by our own mathematics. If you want to say that our human knowledge is so small and meaningless, then why don't you throw out everthing else we've ever learned? It's so miniscule, it doesn't even matter, right? Just because we've proven to a degree that "Lightspeed" is impossible to ever attain, doesn't mean concepts like Wormholes and the folding of space aren't.

You're giving humans to little credit. We're an ingenius species capable of nearly anything we set our minds on.

That is -considering- they actually went on moon, which wouldn't be true in my opinion. Let's go on the moon for real first, then we'll try to find existing intelligent life. Anyone who actually believes that the USA really went on the moon would be a simple idiot, even now, the NASA can hardly imagine a project of sending a spaceship to the moon, what about the 60's?

The tape was proven to be a fake one, by the way.

Shame the Bible is crap then isnt it? Considering the bible is written by Men they could of just made it up. I dont believe God exists and Bible goes against a lot of science thats more likely to be right.

My former boss is a carpenter he took up that role because he belive in god, and hes a faithful christian that preaches to everyone he see's including gas stations, mcdonalds, whenever he sees someone that needs to be told about god. I asked him does he belive in aliens, he answered it simply "No, Jesus died once for us (humans), not for another race." Meaning Jesus would have had to die twice for another race to be born.

Oh, I agree with him. Read what I said a bit more carefully. I stated what if another civilization existed that never fell to temptation. Jesus Christ only had to die because we fell to sin. Personally I believe we're all that's out there, but I could be wrong and wouldn't be surprised if I was. There's just no proof about any other form of life existing in space.
